A retrowave neogoth Virtual Reality experience that takes you on a dystopian journey of becoming a successful artist.
This stylistically surreal VR piece was made as a reflection of my anxiety about the future, a current personal struggle to find a healthy definition of success, and the algorithmically-forced rise of extremism in self-made entertainment content on the internet. The main goal of this piece is to get the user to experience emotional discomfort and loss of control to convey a very pessimistic point of view on the world, bringing light to the hypervaluation of social media influence among the Gen Z demographic.

GENESIS - 3D Scanning/ Mixed Video Unity Film
This film was created using 3D scans of my body, Unity, and compiled in Adobe After Effects to include green screen footage for Matt Romein’s 2018 course on Performative Avatars. The film presents an abstraction of the experience of idolizing a projected version of yourself on social media as a response to the course’s topic of questioning the nature of human identity in the post-digital world.
