A system of configurable fabric patches and AR filters used to create mixed reality apparel for photos/videos of users.

ApplauseMachine

Using custom models from MakeHuman, this Instagram filter allows the user to place a crowd of clapping shiny people anywhere in the worldspace using the pinch and tap+drag gestures.

This instagram filter utilizes a custom LUT which uses person segmentation to turn the world around the user different colors as well as add line and eye effects to their face.

EDGELORD

This Instagram filter combines a custom face texture with an animated background and person segmentation that allows the user to change their background and the makeup on their face.

OPALINE

This Instagram filter completely takes the user out of their surroundings and allows them to float in a surreal pearly world surrounded by various monuments of their own face.

This Instagram filter combines audio and blink tracking to initiate a spinning animation of the user’s headdress and play a cheering audience soundtrack to boost the user’s ego.

AR Painting

This augmentation uses a painting I made of American Gothic as an image marker and extrudes it out. The effect was created using Photoshop and Blender.
